Just completed my level 3 with Anna while working full time. What a brilliant experience! Being not the most academic person I was a-bit nervous about starting and how much the work load would be and what style the diploma would be delivered in. She recognizes that different people learn differently and accommodates to that. Anna made learning enjoyable and grew my passion for learning as she delivers it in such a personal way. She is so understanding, patient and accommodating. Anna is always there to reach out to by phone call or text any day of the week if you have any questions and assures every student of this constantly. Anna makes it known that she wants to help so I was never reluctant or hesitant to reach out to her if I needed help. Her passion for care and people is so evident. Could not recommend ACT enough !!

I started the Diploma in Adult Care in October 2022. As a 70 year old student I wondered whether I could manage the requirements of the course especially as I was the oldest there. I did not need to worry at all, Anna was amazing and made me feel comfortable from the start. She was always positive throughout the course and full of encouragement. Her taught sessions were very engaging often including anecdotes or a light hearted story related to the topic which lightened the sometimes rather dry content.

Anna organised the session so that we could complete some of the assignments with other students. I enjoyed recording responses to the assignments in a small group as it enabled me to hear how others tackled some of the topics and was a useful way to achieve the credits. The course required written responses as well but Anna was there to give support and guidance to make sure I passed the modules.

I am really pleased that I undertook this Diploma and felt really proud of myself when, in August last year, I was presented with an official City and Guilds Certificate. Thank you Anna for believing in me.

I cannot praise Anna enough for her help. She was always there at the end of the phone, day or night when I had troubles or questions. I was particularly anxious when Anna needed to come with me to my service users houses to do some observations, Anna made me feel so comfortable that I didn’t feel like she was observing me at all. She is very approachable, the help and support she gave me was nothing short of amazing. Her knowledge of the course and classes are very easy to understand.  All the information, resources and print outs that she had given me really helped as well. I really don’t think I could have completed my Level 3 if it wasn’t for Anna.

I first started my RQF level 3 diploma in adult care in October with Anna, I felt very nervous and felt like I wasn’t able to do this, and Anna made me feel comfortable and made anything seem possible.

Anna is very approachable, and no question was too much bother no matter what the time was. Anna is very good to break down questions and make changes to the learning skills for you to understand it in a better way.

I found the classroom group work very beneficial as everyone is so different in the ways of learning, and I found we could all bounce off each other and listen to each other’s ideas and the ways they see things; Anna is very good to see the way people work and adapt the lesson to the way everyone learnt.
