I first started my RQF level 3 diploma in adult care in October with Anna, I felt very nervous and felt like I wasn’t able to do this, and Anna made me feel comfortable and made anything seem possible.

Anna is very approachable, and no question was too much bother no matter what the time was. Anna is very good to break down questions and make changes to the learning skills for you to understand it in a better way.

I found the classroom group work very beneficial as everyone is so different in the ways of learning, and I found we could all bounce off each other and listen to each other’s ideas and the ways they see things; Anna is very good to see the way people work and adapt the lesson to the way everyone learnt.

I cannot praise Anna enough for her help. She was always there at the end of the phone, day or night when I had troubles or questions. I was particularly anxious when Anna needed to come with me to my service users houses to do some observations, Anna made me feel so comfortable that I didn’t feel like she was observing me at all. She is very approachable, the help and support she gave me was nothing short of amazing. Her knowledge of the course and classes are very easy to understand.  All the information, resources and print outs that she had given me really helped as well. I really don’t think I could have completed my Level 3 if it wasn’t for Anna.

"Anna’s way of teaching has encouraged me to want to learn and progress"

I would highly recommend Anna as I tutor her patience knowledge and understanding of an individual need is exceptional, she is dedicated to all her students and their style of learning. Giving time and encouragement to all her students in and out of normal teaching hours, she was always available and never made me feel like any question was a stupid one. She guided me through any thing I was having trouble with, in a way that suited my style of learning. She is supportive and encouraged everyone to complete their diplomas being on hand to answer any query or questions.

As a more mature student with previous bad experience of school and higher education I was not looking forward to starting my diploma but needed it to progress to a higher level at work.

Within the first classroom session I felt relaxed and motivated to learn, Anna made the classroom courses something I looked forward to and not with dread. She was clear on what needed to be achieved and never made me feel rushed into completing units, everything was set out clearly and units explained and discussed within the classroom, and she was always made herself available before and after class if anything further was needed to be asked or explained.

Her motivation and knowledge of the care sector is clear to see, and she clearly wants her students to achieve high levels and keeps everyone engaged and motivated to learn making everything accessible and always engaging. Throughout the course I never felt nervous or embarrassed to ask questions and participate in classroom discussions as has been the case with other learning experiences.

The qualification I have recently gained has led to a promotion at work and better understanding of my role, being new to adult healthcare it has helped me progress positively and Anna’s way of teaching has encouraged me to want to learn and progress. I would not of finished my diploma in such a timely manner if it wasn’t for Anna’s unwavering support and encouragement.

I completed my level 5 diploma with Anna and she was an excellent tutor! After doing my level 3 with a different company, I was dreading completing another level. However, I enjoyed the training as Anna made it interesting and I felt I also learned so much along the way!
